so...i am having a hard time this week realizing that my kids are growing up. I told Coleman earlier this month that i wanted to freeze time because i don't want my kids to grow anymore. Plus i feel way too young to have a fifth grader. Before i know it I'll have a 7th grader which scares me to death and then a 10th grader and it just doesn't stop. Anyway, my kids started school this week and let me share the difference between a 2nd grader and a 5th grader. Ashlyn, my 2nd grader wanted me to take lots of pictures of her and take her to school and walk her to class. Coleman on the other hand didn't have any time for pictures and wanted to ride the bus. Overall, they have had a great time the first week of school!

I feel your pain today Angie. Kate had her first day of first grade today. They grow up to fast huh? Good Luck with the upcoming school year. Let the craziness begin!

Awww, doesn't the time fly? Before long it will be Olivia going to school! I wish it would slow down, ESPECIALLY the summer! :(

Cute Kiddo's. Time goes by wayyyy tooooo fast!!! Sometimes we want it to and then other times we just want it to freeze so we can keep our little ones the way they are.

I love that Coleman was "too old" for the pictures and the ride to school! He is such a funny kid! Ashlyn looks so cute, she is such a good student, I know she loves school!!
It is nice that our kids need their "moms" :)
We are going to be older sooner than we think if our kids keep growing up so fast!!
It is an emotional thing to watch these little kids grow up and go off to school all by themselves. I too wish i could freeze time.
